History and Mission
Who are we?
The Old Harry Heritage Site represents the museum component of CAMI, the Council for Anglophone Magdalen Islanders. It aims to create and animate a recognized museum and tourist destination, whose dynamism will promote the identity and heritage of the English-speaking community, in order to strengthen its sense of belonging and its social and economic contributions to the Magdalen Islands.
Our mission
CAMI's museum mission is to preserve, collect and share the identity, culture and tangible and intangible heritage of the English-speaking community of the Magdalen Islands, in order to pass them on to that community, to future generations and to visitors.
It is at the heart of CAMI's heritage vision and has a complementary mission as a driving force in Grosse-Île's tourism development.
