Meet Our Team!
We’re excited to introduce our team for the summer of 2025!
This year, five passionate guides will take turns highlighting the history and heritage of the English-speaking community of the Magdalen Islands.
Without further ado, here is our exceptional team!
Chloé Boucher
Hello! My name is Chloé, and I'll be part of the CAMI guide team this summer.

Justine Chenell
My name is Justine, and I was raised on Entry Island. I moved to Prince Edward Island in the early 2000s to work as a resident caregiver in a nursing home for 10 years. Then, I moved to Nova Scotia, where I decided to return to school. I graduated with a diploma in Medical and Dental Office Administration.
In 2020, during the pandemic, I moved back home to Entry Island to help care for my grandfather and spend time with my grandchildren.
In 2024, I joined the CAMI team as a Seniors Coordinator, doing activities with the island seniors during the winter.
Summer of 2025, I will be one of the guides at the Entry Island Museum. I’m looking forward to welcoming you to the Entry Island Museum this summer.
Camille Côté
"Hello everyone,
My name is Camille, and I’m lucky to be part of the guide team for the summer season! I’m currently completing a professional master’s degree in International Studies at Université Laval. Previously, I worked as a guide at the National Assembly of Quebec, so I’m thrilled to continue pursuing this passion in the picturesque setting of the Magdalen Islands! My love for the Islands led me to spend the summer here, and I’m truly excited to share this adventure with all of you!
My hopes for this summer are to enjoy the beauty of the archipelago, take time to recharge, and have meaningful encounters with both the residents and the visitors to the heritage site.
Looking forward to meeting you!"
Kamille Michaud
"Helloooo everyone! Let me introduce myself—my name is Kamille Michaud!
First, a few words about my academic background… I’ve got a bachelor’s degree in a bit of everything! More specifically, I hold a multidisciplinary bachelor’s in history, education, and management. This fall, I’ll be starting a master’s in leisure, culture, and tourism. My interest in the field was confirmed while working as a recreation coordinator in a seniors’ residence, although I’ve always been involved in the cultural and tourism sectors.
Now, a little bit about me! I’m a sociable, curious, and funny person (if I may say so myself). Passionate about sports and music, you’ll definitely see me running around the Islands and attending all the music shows!
The Islands! I can’t wait to be there! The salty air, the sea, the wind, and the sunshine will do me a world of good! I’m so excited to make all kinds of discoveries, share the history of the Islands, and meet wonderful people! See you soon!"
Élise Roy
"Hello, my name is Élise, and I’m really looking forward to being a guide this summer for CAMI!
I’ve always been passionate about history, so I’m very proud to be studying it at Concordia University. I specialize in the evolution of community diversity in Canada and, more recently, in how these communities are developing their presence on social media.
When I’m not reading or drawing, I love going for walks with my big, cuddly dog Ruhe (he’s absolutely adorable).
I also have a great interest in nature facts and aquatic animals, so I’m super excited to discover and learn more about the wonders of the Magdalen Islands!"
Maurane Francoeur
"Hello!
My name is Maurane Francoeur, and I’m thrilled to be starting my second summer leading the cultural mediation team at the Old Harry Heritage Site. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Historical Sciences and Heritage Studies from Université Laval, and I’ve also gained nine years of experience as a guide. A lifelong lover of the sea and beautiful landscapes, I’m also passionate about history, literature, architecture, and cooking.
After having had the privilege of sharing the rich heritage of the English-speaking community of the Magdalen Islands, I’m now ready to take on the challenges of this new year and to offer a memorable and enriching experience to all our visitors!
Looking forward to meeting you this summer!"
